Ariel and Ryan had a wedding day full of adventure at Wilson Creek Winery. Rain clouds everywhere we looked, but we still managed to get some amazing photos with dark clouds looming in the background. Ariel and Ryan handled the weather like champs. Didn’t damper their big day!!

We loved working at Wilson Creek Winery!! Here is a what someone else thought!!

“When my fiance and I started looking for a wedding venue in Southern California wine country, we immediately fell in love with Temecula. Our plans were for a small wedding of 40-50 guests and a venue that could allow us the use of a barrel room for a cocktail hour and banquet room for a sit down meal.

We saw many wineries but most were either unavailable on our chosen date or required a minimum of 75 or more. Then we visited Wilson Creek. Not only did they have our date but they were completely flexible to the number of guests we could have. After one tasting, we were wowed by their collection of wines. I should probably mention that we fell in love with their Almond Champagne and the White Cabernet.

They offered several reasonably priced options, on packages with affordable upgrades on linens, lighting and beverage for our choosing. We decided on a daytime wedding so that our guests could enjoy the beautiful scenery and grounds at Wilson Creek.

At first we were a little turned off by the idea of having a venue open while our daytime wedding was going on, since many wineries offer you the exclusivity of the space. But after several visits to the winery, while other events were in progress, this didn’t seem to be an issue. The banquet personnel does a great job in securing your space for any visitors at the winery “looking in”. Do keep this in mind though, if you would prefer your event at the winery after it closes.

One suggestion my husband and I made to the wedding coordinating staff, is that they should offer an open house to perspective wedding couples, to sample all their menu offerings. The current plan is to pick your menu and then taste it. At this point you are locked into your menu. You don’t have any other opportunity to taste anything else and if you change your mind, as we did, you are making selections off the menu that will be first sampled the day of the event.

Overall our wedding was a wonderful experience for us and our 50 guests.
