Ashley was in medical school and running late for a class at the Children’s Hospital she was working at… little did she know that being late to class would lead to meeting her future husband. Matthew was teaching the class and Ashley actually hit Matthew with the door as she was rushing in! I guess you can say Matthew fell in love with her then!! After dating for a bit Ashley and Matthew took a trip to DC. One morning Matt left a dress in the hotel room with a note that said “meet me at the Lincoln” Ashley did just that… Matt proposed in front of the reflection pool. I love that proposal story! Ashley loves Matthew because he calms her down and he takes great care of her. Matthew loves Ashley because she is crazy in all the good ways and he loves her eyes. They enjoy traveling together, any type of outdoor activity and eating amazing food!

We thoroughly loved working at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse! Here’s what someone else thought:
“Fantastic! Stellar service, amazing food and a gorgeous view of San Diego. What more can you ask for?
This year is where our annual friends giving/alcohol exchange was planned by my fellow yelp sister Nette B.. Last time I was here was back in the 90s for prom with my horrible date, LOL. I remember the decor being very dated, although quite nice, for its time.
Fast forward a few decades later and not only has decor been updated but for some reason it seems much more spacious and open compared to its original state. I was extremely impressed by our two servers are not all we kept our water glasses still constantly but made recommendations provided fast service and graciously split all of our bills. We were a large party of 18 and not very many restaurants would be so accommodating. They even were kind enough to provide a small table for our adult beverages gifts that we swapped at the end of dinner. Nice!
What I had: an absolutely scrumptious Jidori Half Brick Chicken with perfect crispy skin. It was served with Preserved Meyer Lemon Couscous, Crispy Dijon Brussel Sprouts and Pomegranate Mint Gastrique. Say that ten times fast. Some parts of the chicken were a tad dry but overall, it was delectable and I would order again. They also made me a Peach Bellini that wasn’t on the menu and it was divine.
I definitely have to come back to try out their brunch as I’ve heard many rave reviews about it. Dinner was wonderful and I would highly recommend this restaurant looking for a place for a romantic date or to celebrate a special occasion. Will return!”
Nice post, thanks for share such amazing shots.
