Jessica and Matt met at The University Pub, a local dive bar in Fort Worth, Texas in the summer of 2012. Jess had just graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) and Matt is born and raised Fort Worth. They ended up as pool partners and ran the table all night. They have been together every since 🙂 After dating for 4 1/2 years Matt asked Jess to be his wife!! Matt proposed in November of 2016 while sitting by a campfire. It was intimate with just Matt and Jess and their trusty pup, Augustus. Jessica and Matt love taking their dog for walks, trying out new bars and restaurants, and camping either in their tent or travel trailer. Sounds like these two are a perfect match! So happy for them 🙂

We LOVE working with Amy at First Comes Love… here’s what another client thought!!

“Well to start, you are in for the most special experience working with Amy at First Comes Love. Her price is not much compared to every thing else! I have a story to tell but before I do I think it’s important you know that by working with Amy it saved us over $15,000 throughout the entire process! Talk about an amazing ROI, yeah Amy, #stayclassysillari So, to begin I will tell you little about Amy and why she is not only an amazing, funny, caring human but the best at what she does. Tricia and I did not know Amy until we met her in her office around November 2015, it’s important to know that because the relationship she built with us is one that will last forever! Amy has an amazing dynamic personality and can get along with anyone, she communicates at a very high level which is rare and she loves what she does not only for putting a smile on her clients face but to negotiate the best deal for her clients as well. She can take a dirty joke, be serious or caring when needed and lay the hammer down at the perfect moment! So, you always start with a budget and to be honest we went over but we were pretty close and that is not including the savings that I stated above! So, with the savings we came in around $10K below our budget. With each vendor we worked with Amy was able to acquire us at least 15-20% discount. When you have flowers, videographer, DJ, etc that adds up to $3-4K right there! As we slowly got closer to our wedding day and we were about 8 weeks out our venue called to have us come in for an unplanned meeting. Unexpectedly our venue decided to proceed with construction at our ceremony site giving us very limited options and I had a very upset Fiancé on my hands. As you can imagine ladies, that is not something you want to hear when 165 people are coming and 150 are from out of state and all booked at the hotel where the ceremony is! So, we were able to settle on a new location on site but it was not ideal. Here is where Amy absolutely dominated and earned my respect for life, she kept calm, comforted Tricia and negotiated every additional cost to be free, suite upgrades for free, free gift certificate, free hour of open bar , free cabanas the day after and the list goes on. At the end of the day the ceremony site change was disappointing but not the end of the world. The real problem was how the hotel management was simply terrible at communicating with us proactively and we simply felt deceived! This brings us to our final walk through 3 days before the wedding and to our surprise there was more construction but this time the entire front of the hotel was dug up and fenced in, what a beautiful welcome for our guests! Need not worry Scott, Amy to the rescue! She negotiated more discounts off the top and got the resort fees and parking waived for our guests! Again, not the end of the world but the hotel management again was horrible proactively communicating with us leaving even more of a bad taste in our mouth. At the end of the day Amy put her neck out to make sure we had the most amazing day of our lives! Although there was a lot of construction the hotel was functional and the wedding went perfect and our guests had truly an amazing time sharing this most special day with us. So, if you want a wedding planner that will be your best friend, an advocate, communicate proactively at every turn and do what ever it takes to make your dreams come true, then hire First Comes Love!
