Jeff and Heather met online after growing tired of the San Diego bar scene. They caught each other’s attention by being outdoorsy and athletic, and soon realized that they were both pretty big dorks. They first saw each other at Rock Bottom near UCSD, where they shared a handful of appetizers, dozens of silly laughs, and their night culminated in a high five. They were living together 8 months later, and owned a house and a puppy together about a year after that. Sounds meant to be!! They love how much they complete each other, Heather thinks that sounds cheesy, we love it. Jeff has been inspired from Heather’s drive and initiative. Heather has lowered her uptight tendencies thanks to Jeff’s low-key nature and helpful reassurances.  Neither of us enjoy–or are good at–being the center of attention but they are the center of each other’s world, and wouldn’t have it any other way.  They cherish the company of one another and need little else (okay, definitely food too) to have an enjoyable night together. Heather and Jeff are now enjoying Bali!  They wanted somewhere about as far away as possible because who knows when else they’ll be able to take the kind of time off required to get to the other side of the world.  Beaches and clear warm water were a must, but forest and mountain hikes were a selling point as well.  There is enough to do to keep them busy, but not so much ground to cover that they’d feel bad about taking a day or two to put their feet up with a mojito.

“This venue is incredible, a hidden gem. I hadn’t even heard of it until my mom stumbled upon the scripps seaside forum and asked for a tour. I am so glad we chose this venue over the La Jolla Women’s House. It is quiet, private, and very intimate and relaxing. Our guests were so impressed and can’t stop talking about how beautiful it is! The view from the wedding was incredible. Working with Bibiana couldn’t have been easier. She was extremely organized and supportive, always one step ahead of us at all times. She was always available and easy to get a hold of, and very sweet in answering ALL of our questions, which over a year and half of planning was a lot! We hired continental catering on their list of approved vendors and would recommend them 100%! Their experience and knowledge was stellar and their food couldn’t have been better. Couldn’t have been happier!”
