Courtney grew up in San Diego so when her and David got engaged they knew that they wanted to get married in Coronado! They both love visiting Coronado when they come to San Diego and wanted all of their friends coming from the east coast to get a real CA experience. When they went to view Coronado Community Center they thought it was perfect spot. Courtney and David enjoy playing tennis, skiing, spending time at the beach and house projects/fixing up their new house. These two are so cute!! For their honeymoon they are off to Japan. They both have always wanted to go there. They also wanted to go somewhere that they could mix culture, sightseeing, adventure and a little beach time. Japan made the most sense! Sounds so great!!

We loved working at Coronado Community Center!! Here is what someone else thought!!
“My husband and I got married at the Coronado Community Center (CCC) on 6/24/2016 with a large wedding party and aprx 200 guests. I believe we booked the venue in August 2015 and while we chose to get married on a Friday due to limited Saturdays available, we are so grateful because it allowed us to really relish and enjoy all the energy and excitement with our family and friends after the wedding. Our wedding was a destination for most, so we chose to continue the celebration and lounge by the pool with all of our out of town guests at Loews Coronado Bay Resort on Saturday. It also gave us more time to unwind and relax before heading back to reality. Wes Jones was our main contact at the CCC and he was very professional, reliable, efficient, accessible, and friendly. He was easy to work with and while it is obvious that the venue is very popular and he is busy coordinating multiple events, he was quick to respond to questions via email and everything ran smoothly on our big day.
The venue is awesome because not only is it beautiful, but it’s extremely convenient to have your ceremony on the lawn and then walk over to your cocktail hour and then the Nautilus Banquet room for your reception. We also loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors, buy our booze at Costco (with bartenders provided by our caterer), and have live music for both our wedding ceremony and reception. The only thing I wish I had thought about in advance is that you cannot have bottles of wine on the tables at the venue (no self pour); therefore, I recommend having more than 2 bartenders if your guests like to drink because there was always a long line for the bar. Again, we loved the CCC and got raving reviews from all of our guests. It is a hidden gem and we are so grateful that one of our family friends’ got married there or else we would have never known about it. Thank you to Wes and the staff at CCC for making our big day so amazing and memorable! We highly recommend the CCC as a wedding venue and feel like it’s worth the wait.”
