Korletta and Tom met through friends/family.  Korletta’s co-worker and friend Cristina is married to Tom’s cousin Abel.  Abel and Cristina introduced them. They played match maker and the rest is history!! Tom proposed on St. Patrick’s Day in Ensenada, Mexico.  They were at the oldest cantina in Mexico, Hussong’s Cantina (established in 1892). Not only did they celebrate St Patty’s day… they also got to celebrate their forever! What they love most about each other is that they always can laugh together! They also love spending time with their beautiful (and photogenic) son Henry! They also love to travel, to hang out at the beach and to discover new adventures! They picked the stunning Bahia Resort/Bahia Belle to host their big day because they love the beach and the Bahia offered a unique venue where they could celebrate on the beach and a boat. Best of both worlds!

“From the first meeting, my fiance and I immediately took a liking to Kelly.  She was professional, experienced, friendly and confident that she knows how to get vendors to get their act together if there were any problems.

We were doing a number of slightly unconventional twists to our wedding and thus were disregarding numerous traditions.  Kelly was very enthusiastic about helping us with determining how to integrate nontraditional ideas we had while at the same time, letting us know gently when we shouldn’t be messing with certain traditions for the sake of our guests.

We purchased the two-day package (rehearsal dinner and day of).  She was always punctual, had a smile on her face, but also firm whenever necessary to keep things moving along.

A little story of um, irregularity at my wedding (yes, I realized afterwards that I should have probably brought my wedding ring to the ceremony).  Kelly came through as the calming presence for everyone and immediately made the correct judgment call to use a substitute ring from my Best Man.  I would have had my sister rush back to the hotel for the ring and delayed the start of the ceremony at least another 30 mins which could have been disastrous as it would have impacted all of the remaining schedule and cost us hundreds more in photographer and videographer OT fees.

After the wedding, I kept hearing from our guests about all the little things Kelly did throughout the night like personally filling water glasses, reattaching my wife’s wedding dress train thingy during the dancing and many more.

As a typical guy, I despise the wedding industry and think there is a ridiculous 30% markup for anything just because it has the word “wedding” attached.  However, Kelly’s coordination service was a wedding service that I would have gladly paid 50% more than I paid.”
