Maya and Kalvin worked at a coffee shop together. Maya was the assistant manager. Her interview with Kalvin was the first time they met. She hired him on the spot. I love that!! It was on their third year anniversary in Santa Barbara. Kalvin waited all day for the right moment to propose. After bypassing opportunities on a hike and at the beach, he ended up proposing on the hotel rooftop after sunset. It was beautiful. There was music and string lights reflecting off the pool. Not a soul was around. Kalvin got down on one knee and proposed. Maya said yes! These two love to paddle boarding, go to the movies, travel together, food, cuddling, going to the beach and spending time with each others families. They wanted to get married at the beautiful Twin Oaks because its stunning beauty. It was only the second place they saw, and they never looked anywhere else after that. It is their style – a mix of vintage classic and nature. It is intimate – perfect for a small wedding.
