Katherine and Patrick first met on July 4th, which is Patrick’s birthday, so they joke that Kat was the best birthday gift that Pat ever got! Pat originally had an elaborate plan to ask Kat to be his wife in Tahoe, in front of her closest friends, but COVID unfortunately happened. So the next best thing was for Pat to ask Kat in the car in the parking lot when they were about to get Pho Cow Cali! Pat clearly didn’t want to wait any longer, and Kat was excited, though definitely laughs about this moment. What Kat loves the most about Pat is that he is so kind and patient. He has really understood her deepest problems and insecurities, and really brings out the best in her. He’s given her such a sense of love and security that she’s never felt before. Pat loves how kind and nurturing Kat is. She always tries to go out of her way to accommodate everyone around her and he knows he is not the only one that appreciates this side of her.
