One of the quirkiest things about Karen and David is their dog, Nash.  He always makes them feel better and even helps to solve their arguments! If one of them says something slightly argumentative, he will immediately jump up and lay down between them looking extra sad.  Nash knows that if he is there, they will focus on how cute he is instead of what they were talking about before! Karen said that one of the things that she loves most about David is he always surprises her in how much he cares about her and their relationship.  He has been by her side helping her thorough her tough grad school years!
