Andrew and Christine met while in college at Chapman University. Andrew sat down next to Christine in their accounting class and that’s were their story begins! Andrew asked Christine on a date, she said “yes” and they both found that they enjoy going on adventures. They like being spontaneous, whether it be a small weekend trip or deciding last minute to go on a hike. They like hiking, spending time with family, and being lazy together. With some much in common Andrew knew that Christine was his forever lady. He popped the question a couple days before Christmas at a restaurant/wedding venue in Palm Desert. Andrew had Christine’s Grandma and Mom tell her that they were going to see a Christmas show, while Christine’s Grandpa and Andrew went last minute Christmas shopping. When the three of them pulled up to the place where the show was supposed to be, there was no one else there, but across the lawn area was Andrew. He had laid out rose petals to make a path leading up a few stairs to a blanket he had laid out. The backdrop had a beautiful rock formation waterfall surrounded by palm trees. Andrew started his proposal, which neither of them can totally remember what he exactly said but he stopped just before getting on one knee. He pulled out his phone to have her watch a video of Andrew at the cemetery asking Christine’s father, who had passed away, permission to marry her. At that point, everyone was crying. Andrew got down on one knee and it took Christine less than a second to say yes! After, Andrew led her over to see that their parents and grandparents were there to help them celebrate. I love love how thoughtful Andrew is! They both love how they can just be with one another. these two love spending time together, doing anything and everything. They love that neither of them take things too seriously, they are all about the laughs. They quote movies all the time and bust up laughing when they fit perfectly into real life situations. No one around them knows what the heck is going on, but they find it hilarious.
