Josh and Amanda lived next to each other in the first apartment Amanda moved into in San Diego. They were living next to each other for 6 months before they actually met and it was after he got a puppy (Eddie their adorable boxer). Amanda can never resist a puppy! Josh and Amanda were friends for about 3 years before they started dating. Once they started dating it was easy. They already knew so much about each other and got along so well that spending time together just felt right to them both! Josh proposed to Amanda on June 1st 2017, the day before her 30th birthday. Amanda’s family was supposed to come in from New York for her birthday party the next day. Josh recommended to walk the dogs before they went out to dinner. They walked down to Windansea beach (down the block from where they live) and there was a surfboard on the shack. Josh asked if Amanda wanted to go down and look at it and she responded “why would I want to look at someone else’s surf board?”. Josh informed her that it was her birthday present ( a board she’d asked for). Amanda obviously then said “why would you leave it there like that?!?” They walked down to look at the board and on the back of it in paper letters were “marry me?”. Amanda has no clue what he or she said after that, she kinda blacked out from shock. Then Amanda’s family and Joshua’s family came out from behind the bushes (an additional surprise).

We loved working at Mission Brewery!! Here is what another person thought!!
“This is one of my favorite hangouts in town. It has some of the best people guiding it’s vision behind the scenes. We’ve partied at their events and enjoyed lots of weekends with friends.
I bring my friends to Mission Brewery again and again because I LOVE everything about it. The brewery itself has resurrected the brewing legacy of San Diego History dating back to before the prohibition. Seriously… can you make this place any cooler?!
The beer is the BEST. AS I write this, I’m drinking a limited edition Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Seas Russian Imperial Stout. I have to write this quickly or the 11.25% alcohol volume in this bottle will begin to make this review way too much fun!
I always drive out of my way to pick up cases of beer for our neighborhood parties. I’m looking forward to more and more hangouts at Mission! Really appreciate everything this place is about!”
