Stephen and Whitney started planning the wedding before they were officially engaged, but Stephen always intended to properly propose. He suspected that she knew it was coming that weekend because he was acting a little out of sorts, despite his best efforts to not being visibly nervous. Together, they built a blanket fort in her living room and laid underneath watching a TV show on Hulu for a few hours. After eating Indian Food for dinner, he popped the question and showed her the ring. They then ate cheesecake and drank chocolate infused champagne to celebrate. Among so many things, Stephen loves Whitney’s passion and ambition, her intelligence and candor, her kind heart, and her smile.
Whitney loves Stephen’s kind heart, his intellect, the truly magical spark when he smiles and the way he makes her feel seen and safe in his arms. Though they are both homebodies, they enjoy traveling together. They also enjoy working out; cooking; playing with their dogs.
