Layla and Adam’s proposal was on a beautiful spring day at the beginning of May. Layla was cleaning/getting her house ready for putting it up on the market and Adam came over to help. She asked him to do some stuff in the backyard. Adam called her out to help him with something and when Layla came around the deck, Adam was down on one knee with the ring and asked Layla in Persian if she would marry him. Taken by surprise and confusion, Layla’s initial reply was “What did you say?!” followed by Yes! The whole time, Adam had asked a friend to take photos of the proposal from across a creek that Layla lived on. They love trying new foods, traveling, and binge-watching movies and comedy TV shows.
