Jessica and Kyle met the old fashion way… online!!!! Their first date was at a brewery. They instantly had a connection and both knew that they wanted to hang out more. That’s just what these two did!! Fast forward to the big proposal… Jessica and Kyle went on a hike at Armstrong Redwoods park…it was overcast and drizzling (their favorite weather). After their hike, Kyle found the perfect spot to go back to take some “photos.” he set up a tripod on video (unbeknownst to Jess)…while they were taking “photos” Kyle got down on a knee and proposed. This finished their lovely hike and went out to Korbel winery to celebrate. Jessica was so surprised and beyond excited. They love to go Beer tasting/brewery hopping (Karl Strauss is the perfect place to host their big day), cooking, hiking, pumping iron, relaxing and watching TV. They also love any type outdoor-sie stuff. Kyle and Jessica love each other for all right reasons, some being that they keep each other in check in different ways. They love the same things; they love each other’s families; their communication is on point and their love for animals. Oh and we can’t forget their cat babies!

We loved working at the beautiful Karl Strauss! Here is what another bride thought!!
“My husband and I had our wedding here on March 11th and it was perfect! From the very beginning, Helen and Monica were amazing to deal with. They made everything so easy for us. We really appreciated the fact that they provide almost everything you need: venue, food, drinks (beer and wine), DJ, bakery for the cake and one of them will be there on your wedding day as a day-of coordinator. We just had to find a photographer and an officiant. That made it so simple for us because we didn’t have to deal with multiple vendors. It was also extremely reasonable for 100 guests.
Everything turned out beautiful! The restaurant/brewery has a very rustic but upscale feeling to it. The Japanese gardens are gorgeous, especially at night. The service…..incredible!! Our bartender was the best! Nobody in our wedding party ever had to go ask for a drink. He was so attentive and whenever our drinks would be low, he would just show up and give you a new one. All of the staff are super friendly and fast.
The night flew by, but Monica kept us completely on schedule! All of our friends and family have told us they had a fantastic time and that the place was beautiful. We stayed across the street at the Marriott and it was just a quick walk to the hotel. We highly recommend this place for a wedding!! They do everything right!!”
