Maria and Chris met in the summer of 2005 through mutual friends. One date turned into two and they were “official” by New Years 2006. Chris knew he wanted to marry Maria because she is so full of life. She always tells him how much she loves him. On July 16th, Maria’s birthday Chris asked Maria to be his wife. Chris took Maria to Coronado Ferry Landing and with the sunset behind them, he got down on one knee, told her how much her loved her and ask Maria to marry him. Maria of course said “YES”. She loves how loving and affectionate Chris is. They picked the University Club as their venue because they both love the views of downtown San Diego… Its their favorite restaurant.
