Sam could not pick just one thing that she loves most about Matthias. Some of her favorites include his humor and wit, his depth to be silly at times and profound at others, his optimism, his grounding abilities, how he listens, and his thoughtfulness towards life. Matthias loves Sam’s grace, kindness, and humor. They have a lot of polar opposite attributes that perfectly balance out: Sam is clean and tidy vs. Matthias lives in chaos and mess, Sam is sensitive to sound vs. Matthias believes there is no such thing as too loud, Sam has a fantastic sense of direction vs. Matthias gets lost near the house, Sam cannot do basic math in her head vs. Matthias could have an additional PhD in mathematics. They are “indoor cool.” They like to process the day’s events, go out for a good meal and cocktails, and dote on our dog, Alfie.
