Jacqui and Derick’s proposal was amazing! They had just closed on the house that they had been building for 11 months and went out to one of their favorite restaurants in Utah (Log Haven). Jacqui had no idea that Derick was going to propose, so it was a total surprise (She wishes she had looked nicer, haha). After dinner Derick asked the waiter to take a picture of them, and as Jacqui turned back around from handing the waiter her phone, she saw Derick on one knee. Jacqui couldn’t stop laughing (her awkward coping mechanism) and Derick managed to drop the ring while putting it on her finger. But in the end Jacqui stopped laughing long enough to say YES and so the craziness of wedding planning began! They love to swing dance, sailing, binge watching tv shows (mostly cuz Jacqui always says “ONE MORE!”), art galleries, travel, video games (we love Don’t Starve Together), wine tasting, FOOD… and more 🙂
