These two “swiped right” on tinder and ended up going on a blind date a few weeks later. Hunter picked Meaghan up at her apartment, and they had a very nice dinner at Terilli’s in Dallas. Hunter and Meaghan quickly found that they love traveling together and exploring new places. They also enjoy watching and going to sporting events- especially the Dallas Cowboys and Vegas Golden Knights! Hunter wanted Meaghan to be his forever! They were visiting one of their favorite places, South Lake Tahoe, for a weekend getaway in November 2017. They love hiking around Emerald Bay and decided that even though it was a little chilly, they wanted to bundle up and spend some time there. They made their way down to the lake and then up to some of the waterfalls. When they decided that they had gone far enough and it was time to turn around, they stopped back on a bridge overlooking one of the waterfalls. It was there that Hunter got down on one knee and asked Meaghan to spend the rest of her life with him! Hunter loves that Meaghan makes him a better person and her positivity. Since Meaghan met Hunter, he has made her laugh like no one else can. She loves how thoughtful, supportive, and protective he is of her.

We loved working at the beautiful Cuvier Club!! Here is what another bride thought!!
“Let me start with: if you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further! Sign with Cuvier Club and you will certainly have the wedding of your dreams! I got married here on 7.1.17. My husband and I booked with Cuvier Club in February of 2016 because we absolutely loved the space and the prices were very reasonable. Not to mention, we really enjoyed meeting with Jack, who completely sold us on Cuvier Club because of his humor and down-to-earth personality. We immediately clicked with him!
We would then spend the next year, visiting Cuvier Club on sporadic weekends to get ideas. Each time we visited, the staff was so helpful. As our date neared, we had our food tasting with Megan and we were SO impressed with Abbey Catering.
Here’s what we went with and Megan made sure to take notes on all the items (less sauce, more spicy, etc). We received a lot of wonderful compliments on the food from our guests.

When we were assigned Federico (Fede) as our event captain, we were excited because we read so many good reviews about him on Yelp. And yes, all of these reviews were right! He was incredible to work with! Between Jack, Megan and Fede – this amazing team helped us with everything from timing out our day to picking our uplight colors. During the reception, the servers made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire time. We always had a glass of wine or beer in hand and we were served first. We felt truly cared for and special.
We had 120 guests at our wedding reception. Our ceremony was outside in the Cuvier Club courtyard. Outside, there are bird cage wedding arches and stringed lights. Inside, the venue has beautiful white lanterns, stringed lights and a stage (which is great for the photographer to jump on to take a group photo of your guests). The high vaulted ceilings make the space feel large but actually, it is very cozy. It was the perfect size for our guests with plenty of dance floor room in the center.
Our wedding was very personal and intimate. We did not use many vendors; we mostly had friends helping. For example, our friend made cupcakes for our dessert table, another friend ran our audio and lights, my cousin was our DJ/emcee. Since no one was professional, we relied on the help of Cuvier Club staff. They all came through!
We were so pleased with everything from beginning to end. Even though we had overpaid our last invoice (by several hundred), we gave the rest of the balance to the staff as gratuity. They were truly THAT good and deserved it. Not to toot our own horn, but we heard repeatedly from our guests that this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to (and of course, we feel the same).
