January 2017 Jen was supposed to be either at work or possibly away with friends but a random text invite to a friend’s birthday party at a local gay bar changed her plan to go out . Chalyn was out with her friend Natalie meeting one of Natalie’s BFF for the first time who happened to be the sister of the person having the birthday party. As soon as Jen and Chalyn saw each other there was an immediate connection. Chalyn and Jen danced the night away when everyone else left. At the end of the night the bar closed and Jen was a total gentleperson and dropped Chalyn off at Natalies’ house and asked for her phone number and to see her again and take her out on a “proper date.” The two went on many pre-date and actual dates and spent lots of time together. Both realizing this was incredibly different than relationships prior. Everything was on the same page and both of them had all the things the other was looking for. A few months later Chalyn moved in and before long they were engaged. Chalyn and Jen love exploring and having new adventures together, finding cute new wineries and going winetasting, traveling to local cities, out of state, or out of the country, going to the movies together, going out to eat and trying new places in our Farm to Fork region, going to the gym and spending family time together with Ari (Jen’s son) whether it is homework help, supporting Ari at the Skatepark or watching anime movies together. Jen loves everything about Chalyn. Chalyn makes Jen laugh, Chalyn makes Jen feel like time doesn’t matter- almost that Jen stopped aging and time almost stops, Chalyn is amazing and helps Jen to continue to grow as a human being, become a better person and not stay stuck in one spot. Chalyn loves that Jen is so incredibly amazing it is hard for her to pick because Jen is so rad. Jen is the absolute best ever, Jen is so sweet, thoughtful, adorable, caring, funny, smart, fun, incredible kind and of course super sexy. Chalyn feels so lucky and grateful every single day that her and Jen met, and continues to fall more in love each and every day. These two are so of the most amazing people we have met! We are extremely lucky to be apart of their big day!

We loved working at the beautiful Bahia Resort! Hee is what someone else thought!
“First time here this past weekend but for sure not our last. My only complaint has nothing to do with the hotel itself but getting there… All the effin’ loops and $hit to get there got my a$$ all dizzy. But it is well worth it.
Overall location is pretty good as it is just minutes away from all the goodies SD has to offer. Gaslamp, Old Town, Seaport are all just a short jaunt from the hotel / resort itself.
Speaking of which, the place is pretty large. There is a multi-story “hotel” as well as multiple suites that are situated right on the bay. And they go full circle around the point area so there are a $hitload of them!!! Full kitchens, large bedroom, nice sized living room and a dining area, (with bar seating too). Many, if not all, of the ground level “suite units” have convertible sofas for additional sleeping arrangements if needed.
The staff are both plentiful and very, very helpful. I mean they are EVERYWHERE!!! All to keep the guests happy. The place has a nice pool area, tennis courts, gift shop, a “tropical paradise” type pond area just for the ducks smack dab in the middle… it’s all pretty epic. I strolled around the grounds each morning just to see what was there and discovered something new each day.
Weather permitting you can step right outside your suite onto the sand and enjoy the water and / or sun. Just a nice, nice place!!! Will definitely be back!!! Hopefully soon!”
