Mandy and Franklin have the cutest engagement story! Franklin asked Mandy to trust him as he took her on a trip with her not knowing the destination. As they entered the road to Point Loma, specifically, the Cabrillo National Monument, Mandy felt that this could be the day Franklin would ask her to be his wife and eternal partner. As they gazed upon the beauty of the Coronado Bay of San Diego, California, from the top of Point Loma, Franklin suggested a picture be taken of the two to capture this amazing view as they did five years prior. The struggle with COVID-19 did play a part in the planning because Franklin had to depend on a stranger to capture the moment. As they got into position to take the picture, Franklin held Mandy close, professed his deep love for the amazing woman she is, and asked her to do him the honor of allowing him to be her husband and eternal partner. SHE SAID YES!
