Caitlin and Natan met while both at a dueling piano bar in National Harbor, MD. It was a complete chance meeting, and Nate’s persistence in staying in touch paid off. Caitlin liked that Nathan didn’t give up! They went out and really hit it off! After falling in live, Nathan asked for Caitlin’s hand in marriage… Nate packed a secret picnic basket with bubbly, and set up an excursion late on a Friday to go see the bioluminescence at Carlsbad State Beach. They watched the cool blue lights in the waves for a time, and as Cait requested to head home soon, Nate asked for one more picture with the waves. His sister caught the proposal on camera, and they busted out the bubbly and celebrated at 1am on the beach. Caitlin of course said “yes” she was beyond excited! These two really enjoy playing Zelda together, Nate plays, Cait guides and helps with puzzles. They also love most any board-game, hosting friends, going to the zoo, brunching… they’re truly best friends.
