Jamie and Kevin met the old fashion way… via the online dating app bumble. Fun fact, 50% of our couples met online! They met at a new pub in Los Alamitos for their first date and have been together ever since. As the dating continued the both found that they enjoyed the same types of things! These two love craft beer, wine, hikes, sushi, bike rides, fantasy football, and traveling. They both have a good sense of humor and make each other laugh. That is what really brought them together. They both have strong family connections and value their friendships. Kevin had planned how he was going to propose to the love of his life for months. The place where he wanted to propose was Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, but he wanted to plan a fun day that included some of their favorite activities also. It started with breakfast at their favorite spot in Costa Mesa. Then a hike at the Back Bay in Newport Beach. They headed south and stopped at a few breweries enjoying craft beer, food and laughs. Kevin presented Jamie with a photo album chronicling their relationship together. Then, as the sun was setting, Kevin proposed to Jamie. Wedding planning started! Jamie and Kevin feel in love with the stunning Twin Oaks House! The venue has a lot of character and the uniqueness of it appealed to Kevin and Jamie. They loved the fact that it was a converted old school house. Since they are both elementary school teachers, and several guests at the wedding work in education.
