Einna and Marc met during a mutual friends get together. Marc was still a military police officer at the time and gave Einna a field sobriety test (that she failed) and took her keys and purse to prevent a drunk driving incident. Marc hid the keys and purse in separate locations in the friends house and went home. The next day Einna called Marc for the locations of the items and things went from there.  We love that Marc did that!  What a cool dude.  These two love that they are honest and loyal to one another.  They have the same moral compass and overall have the same beliefs. They enjoy climbing and being outdoors.  As of recent, they LOVE spending time together in the outdoors.   Einna was not the hardcore camping type but Marc really brought it out of her. Einna was always into fitness but when they started climbing, it was more than that.  They both love nature, camping, climbing… Oh, the great outdoors!  Once they got engaged, they just loved Hyatt Aviara.  It had all the feelings that they wanted. Very classic and clean and near the mountains.  Einna just fell in love with the whole ambiance and atmosphere of the location. The outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The perfect fit!

We loved working at the beautiful Park Hyatt! Here is what another person thought!

“It was my wife’s birthday weekend and I looked for some options for a staycation (our vacation away from the mean streets of UTC).

I was able to book the room for 33% less than any site using…well I’m not saying what I used 🙂 But it was a good price and I’ll totally do that again if it is an option.

We booked the room for 2 nights (to allow us a full day at the resort).

First the staff was extremely helpful, and offered things I wouldn’t think to ask for. I had some beer with me, which I planned to keep in the minibar. I was offered a refrigerator (which would keep the beer colder and had room for everything).

We were in the cheapest room, which was still very nice.

The hotel’s layout was a bit odd. The lobby is in the middle and we needed to take the elevator up to the lobby (and down to our room).

The only nitpicky thing: I wish there was a service room button or sign. We stayed in the room a lot and left the do not disturb sign on most of the time. We were out of the room for 1 to 2 hour periods (for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc…). I would have liked cleaning/turndown service during those periods of times. That was really the only thing separating this place from places charging 4 times more.

We ate at all of the restaurants and those reviews are posted separately.

I will include the review for the High Tea here. We’ve tried the High Tea everywhere (including the UK). I’d say the High Tea here is my favorite so far. The problem is most High Teas are too sugary sweet for me. I’m told most of the traditional High Teas are suppose to be over the top sugary sweet. For my preference I thought the food/desserts here were perfect for me.

The baked goods for the High Tea appeared to be baked that day as well.

Overall: I’d highly recommend everything, and I’ll totally be back.”
