Rebecca and Jason went to middle school and high school together but didn’t start talking until senior year of high school. Jason asked Rebecca to prom the day after her birthday by spelling out “Will You Go to Prom With Me?” on cupcakes. They have been together since May 7, 2010. I love high school sweet heart stories! These two are huge Disney fanatics. They love going to Disneyland and getting in touch with the magic that never seems to end there. They also are both foodies. They love looking up new restaurants around the city or places they’ll be visiting and trying out popular spots. So getting engaged just had to happen. Jason asked for Rebecca’s hand in marriage on April 7 , 2018 at Hearst Castle; a place Rebecca had been wanting to go for almost the entire time they’ve been together. Jason used her birthday as a decoy to surprise her- a nearly impossible task. He gave her presents throughout the day (tickets to the San Diego Zoo, concert tickets to see Ed Sheeran, and dinner in Santa Barbara) to throw her off. Jason used a box of macarons from Bottega Louie’s- her favorite pastries- to disguise the ring. She of course said “yes” and the planning 9 years in the making started. They chose the venue for its natural elements. Mt Woodson was the perfect fit. They loved how organically beautiful it was.
