La Valencia Hotel | La Jolla | Erin + Federico’s Wedding Photography

May 6, 2019

We love these two crazy kids!! Honestly their wedding was so much fun… we had a blast spending the day with Erin and Federico’s friends and family. Their story starts on a dating app, Happn!!! They hit it off and decided to meet up. Erin really liked Federico’s warmth and generosity! They found that they both really enjoyed cooking and eating at new restaurants, being social and Federico loves to host parties. Federico proposed at the ice skating rink in Union Square in San Francisco in front of hundreds of people. They made an announcement for everyone to move to the side of the rink and and he skated out to the middle of the rink. After a couple minutes Erin joined him 🙂 That is so sweet! Erin said “yes” and off these two go to write their history!!

We loved working at the beautiful La Valencia Hotel! Here is what another person thought!

“This place is amazing! Any place can provide a room and a bed but this place provided an experience of a lifetime. We went for a friends birthday. When we checked in, my friend was instantly told that her room was upgraded from a partial to full ocean view. But because we arrived early, we decided to lounge at the pool until (and even after) our room was ready. When we were ready to head on, my friend was informed that her room was again upgraded to a villa because we were so patient. The room was beautiful!

As great as all of that was, I have to say the best part of the entire stay was the staff. They were AMAZING! They were always so gracious and accommodating and we were always greeted (even passing in the halls) with a smile.

If you want the best service you have ever had, go to the pool. The attends there were great. We never wanted for anything. They were always around for requests, to answer questions, or joke with us in passing while checking on other guests. Kevin and Krisha (I think that’s how you spell her name) were there on Friday when we got there. On Saturday, they remembered us, remembered our drinks from the day before, and we’re so on top of everything considering how busy it was. Towards the middle of the day a third guy joined them but I didn’t catch his name. He was just as awesome as Kevin and Krisha. Oh and we got to see a wedding from our lounge chairs! How cool!

The ONLY suggestion I have is get more pool umbrella. Those things were prime real estate and as much as the attendants tried to get umbrellas to the people waiting as they freed, some guests made their lives a little difficult. More umbrellas would definitely alleviate that pressure.

We’ve already planned our next girls weekend for next year!”
