Sherry and Santiago met at a New Years event Yacht Party in 2012. They both wanted to see each other again… that’s where this love story begins 🙂 After dating for some years Santiago knew Sherry was the one forever girl for him! One night Santiago said he was going out with friends and would meet Sherry at his place later. When Sherry walked in the door Santiago had over 600 candles lit up and petals all over the floor, he was standing in a suit with the ring in his hand and Sherry can’t even remember everything Santiago said right before he kneeled because she was in shock. She defiantly said “yes”!! What a romantic proposal! Sherry and Santiago enjoy random things like swing dancing, listening to old jazz music, and watching old black and white movies sometimes. I think that’s rad!

We  thoroughly enjoyed working at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, here’s what someone else thought:

“Quiet, private, yet a super close walk to the lobby and spa. The bed was crazy comfortable, with amazing sheets, and a beautiful view of greenery and sky from the window. Loved having a private patio. The bath products smelled amazing. The room was super clean. There was even a tiny kitchen with a fridge and wine glasses–had I known, I probably would have brought a bottle of wine to enjoy on the patio.

The restaurant–Morada–was awesome. I read the mixed reviews and was a bit worried, but it was truly outstanding. We had the short ribs, a salad, and the chocolate 9 ways dessert, and every bit of it was spectacular. And sitting outside under heat lamps, with the view of the mountains in the distance, couldn’t have been more perfect. Brunch was good, too, but the food came super slowly.

The staff also played a huge role in making the experience amazing. Everyone was fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel valued–from the bartender in Morada’s bar, our server at Morada, and the staff we met just walking around the property. Nicole, who I believe is a manager in the restaurant, was absolutely amazing and every time we ran into her she offered to help us with something. She went above and beyond.

Just 24 hours on this property, and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I’ll definitely be back!”
