I was first introduced to photography my senior year in high school in 2000. I began a summer internship working for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and spent 2 years working as a staff photographer and editor for the University of Texas in Arlington's "the Shorthorn." I then moved out to California to pursue a higher education in Visual Journalism at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography. During my 3 year tenure at Brooks, I got to work on a documentary about immigration along the Arizona border as well as a documentary on Argentina. While in school I worked as a wedding photographer and has spent over 5 years (and 100+ weddings) developing my style. Upon Graduation in April of 2006 with a Bachelors of Arts in Visual Journalism, I moved to San Diego to continue my career as a freelance wedding photographer and photojournalist. My goal when working is to tell the complete story through images capturing the emotions and beauty of your special day. |
