Dana and Eric met at the Lemon Bar in Neptune beach florida. Eric left shortly after on deployment and they talked nearly every day. When Eric came home they started dating. After dating for sometime Eric knew that Dana was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Eric got all of Dana’s siblings to come from all over the country and brought them to her favorite winery in ramona (turtle rock ridge) . Dana’a sister kept randomly video taping… Eric was so nervous that he waited so long, Dana thought her sister a drunk video taper. Eric finally got the courage and said something like “you are my best friend and we have been through so much together. I can’t imagine my life without you. Will you marry me?” Of course Dana said “yes” We had such a blast with these two and their friends and family.

We thoroughly loved working at The Bali Hai. Here’s what someone else thought:
“I recently came here for the first time for a wedding reception and was wonderfully surprised by what a beautiful space this is! I was a little confused thinking this may be a hotel, but it’s a multileveled restaurant located to the left when entering Shelter Island.
Located right on the water, Bali Hai has beautiful views! It was perfect for a wedding reception! The reception was held in the first floor room, which was transformed beautifully! There were around 175 guests. I loved the wood structures combined with the decor. It had a very warm feel. The staff was very friendly and the food was good! The bride and groom had chosen plated entrees with choices of either Lo mein, steak or chicken. I had the lo mein and it was very good!
We were able to see that the other areas of the restaurant had public guests and it looked like a very popular space. They did a good job of separating the reception area from the public space though. People raved about the Mai Tais so I’ll have to go back to try one.”
