Sarah and Michael’s wedding was such a fun day!! We loved shooting at the Natural History Museum. It’s not everyday that you need a dinosaur in the background of your photos. Plus Balboa Park never disappoints. Sarah and Michael’s love for each other shined all day long. We loved it!!!

We loved working at the Natural History Museum. Here’s what someone else thought!!
“Great museum with a vast selection of exhibitions. From water to fossils – they’ve got everything natural history.
It’s $19 for adults (but $17 for students!) so it’s still fairly affordable. I tried to use my museum badge from the museum I work at in SF, but they did not offer discount for where I worked. However, they are a part of the ASTC Passport Program which comes with many museum memberships across the nation (and internationally!) – take a look into it, it seems like it’s worth it!
The exhibits that featured local facts, like the water conservation one, were especially educational and interesting. It’s really cool when museums put effort into raising awareness about local issues and whatnot. I love ‘stuffed’ animals too so that was pretty cool! Lots of set-up environments to show how different animals live.
A definite favorite is the floor with fossil casts and the ancient forest walk-through! Fossils are just the best and there was a lot to look at. And speaking of fossils, they still had the ‘Skulls’ exhibit that I had seen about 2 years ago too! Really cool to see and compare skull sizes of animals.
Didn’t get to see ‘Machines in Motion’ this time. Didn’t realize it was an additional ~$9 for adults, and we opted to save the money for other fun stuff. Maybe next time if it’s still around!
Overall, the museum has a lot to offer and is a fun place to spend 2 hours before moving on to the next space in Balboa Park! Fun and lots to see/read.”
