Naomi and Tony met on a Tuesday night, in a dive bar in Yuma, AZ called Red’s Bird Cage. Naomi had just gotten off from work, and was still in her scrubs. Tony was out here on a detachment with the Royal Air Force and out for some drinks with the guys. These two hit it off right away! Naomi loves that Tony makes the best of any bad or stressful situation – and finds that silver lining. He always sees the good in things and the best in people. Also – he’s not afraid to be his goofy self. They are forever laughing together, and she love that! Tony loves Naomi’s ability to make him laugh, even when things get tough. Naomi brings out the big kid in Tony. Naomi appreciates Tony for who he is – faults and all. I love that! They picked Mt Woodson to host the big day because they are going with a Scottish (Travel) Theme – they thought Mt. Woodson Castle would be very fitting. Naomi actually chose the venue while Tony was still living back in the UK back in early 2016. Interesting fact – Tony hadn’t been to Mt. Woodson Castle till the day of the wedding! He has only seen it in pictures.

We love working at Mt Woodson Castle! Here is what someone else thought!!!
“I had my wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle in November, and it was beyond perfect. Seriously. The venue is beautiful and the staff is excellent. I don’t know what I would have done without Iman. She put everything together so expertly, and then some. I was speechless when I saw how she had set everything up. It was so beautiful and so much better than I had ever pictured in my mind. A great majority of our guests traveled from New Jersey, and we had more than one of them say it was their favorite wedding venue they’d ever been to.
The bridal suite and groom’s room were also very cool. Everyone felt so special–it was like getting to live some fantasy life for a few hours.
We had our ceremony in the Oak Tree area, which was just a stunning location. We didn’t even add any extra decorations for the ceremony and it was perfect.
Our reception was on the side lawn, and dancing was inside the castle. We went with DJ Pat (preferred vendor of the venue) and he was also wonderful.
Also, our guests loved that they were permitted to wander about the castle. It was a very cool experience for everyone.
Truly, I just can’t say enough about our wedding here. It was the wedding of our dreams and more. It helped, of course, that I was marrying the love of my life and that we’ve got some pretty amazing family and friends. It was truly a day/night that we will never forget, and that made both ourselves and our guests feel very special.”
