From the moment we met Kimya and Bryan we knew these two have something special! We couldn’t wait to be apart of their big day. The Handlery Hotel was the perfect back drop for their “I do’s.” Their ceremony was in the private garden that is surrounded by beautiful trees, made it feel so romantic. We had a great night with them.

“I had my wedding at the Handlery Hotel San Diego, and it was perfect. Ann Marie was an excellent catering manager. She definitely knows what makes a great wedding and she was so helpful every step of the way even on the day of. I can say the same from the staff; they are super friendly and attentive.

We chose the buffet option which was delicious…that’s hard to find for a wedding buffet but we even got multiple comments from our guests saying the same. They have some standard items you choose for buffet but I asked for a substitution and they made it happen at no extra charge.

The coffee bar and all the little added details this place offers made it that much for enjoyable.

The outdoor private garden ceremony venue is incredible. My husband and I looked at so many hotel wedding venues from Los Angeles area up to San Marcos and San Diego including some more upscale larger San Diego hotels and NONE beat this beautiful ceremony space. It was perfect since I love the natural look with beautiful trees and well kept grass. For all we got and the overall quality of service I’d say it’s definitely low priced!

The little extra touches were great like being greeted the night of in our honeymoon suite with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries courtesy of the hotel…. So much more I can say but I honestly love this place and would recommend to anyone getting married.”
