Who says you can’t find love in the work place! These two did. Amy and Scott met at a Frito-Lay manufacturing plant, Scott works in Research and Development and Amy works in Finance for PepsiCo. They really hit it off and started their adventure!! Scott proposed on the top of Deer Valley Mountain in Park City, Utah at sunset. The sky was pink and purple and it was perfect. Amy of course said “yes” and the wedding planning was started. They picked Coasterra to host their big day because of the views, and boy does it have those!! We had a wonderful evening with their friends and family… of course Coasterra’s views and watching the guests dance the night away!

We loved working at Coasterra!! Here is what another person thought!!
“Had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. The outdoor patio and view are just beautiful especially at sunset. We had a great table in the corner with a view of the San Diego bay and downtown.
Everything we ordered was great! Loved the table side guacamole appetizer – so fresh and delicious. They serve complementary chips and salsa. The white corn and poblano soup was creamy and delicious! My daughter loved it and ended up hijacking ours :). My husband really enjoyed his coconut margarita.
I ordered the grilled fish Veracruz – grilled swordfish on cilantro rice with a tangy olive/tomato sauce. The swordfish perfect. Somehow my order got confused and they brought me the fish of the day (whole fish, bone in), and they graciously exchanged it with the Veracruz. My husband wasn’t keen on the vegetarian entree (it’s also vegan btw), so he ordered a grilled veggie quesadilla (not on the menu) which he really enjoyed.
My daughter got the kids meal cheese quesadilla (good, pretty standard stuff). The highlight for her was the ice cream sundae it came with :).
They brought a complimentary coconut flan out for the birthday boy. It was awesome. We also had to try the butter cake with plantain ice cream after so many rave reviews. It’s huge (serves 4 easily) and was alright. The only disappointment of the evening, but with so much great food and great service, its easily overlooked :).
The service was good. Yes the soup came out luke warm at first (apparently something was unknowingly turned off), but they were so apologetic. Our waiter took great care of us.
They have a huge parking lot but it’s valet only (apart from about 20 public spots). $7 to valet. Pretty easy valet job given the lot is right in front of the restaurant! 😀
We enjoyed the meal, the view and the service. Definitely recommend!”
